Your game, in your browser.

This page describes the current HundoGame application. There are no player accounts or advertising scripts. On hundogame.com, optional Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits and whether the game is started, completed, shared or reported.

What we save locally

We use your browser’s localStorage to save the opened daily question set, date and version, current guess, submitted guesses and completion time. Personal history, totals and streaks are calculated from that saved record. The storage key is hundogame:state:v1. Per-round event flags help avoid counting a restored round as another start or completion.

These records aren’t uploaded to a player database and don’t sync across devices. They remain until you clear this site’s browser storage or your browser removes them. Private browsing may discard them on exit. If storage is blocked or full, the game can continue for the visit and displays a warning.

Loading the site

Your browser requests the site’s HTML, styles, JavaScript, icons and dated puzzle JSON from the server hosting it. Cloudflare processes normal connection information such as IP addresses, browser request details and access logs to deliver and protect the site. This application does not attach your saved guesses to those requests.

We use system fonts and do not load external font services. The game logic does not require cookies; optional Google Analytics may set first-party measurement cookies.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 receives page views and game event names with the round date/version and question number. We do not send your guesses, correct answers, email address or saved result history. Google may process connection information. Advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.

The tag runs only on hundogame.com. Local and Pages preview hosts do not load it. Use the analytics control in the footer to turn it off on this browser. We also respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Your choice is saved under hundogame:analytics-opt-out; changing it does not remove game progress.

Analytics describes measured visits, not every player. A copied result is not proof of a social post; a report click is not proof of a sent email. Read Google’s privacy information.

Sources and email

Question sources link to external websites. Those sites receive a normal visit if you choose to open them and have their own privacy practices. We request noreferrer on source links.

Report links open your mail application with a question ID and round details. No message is sent automatically. If you choose to send an email, it includes your address and any information you provide, and is processed by the email services involved. Avoid including sensitive personal information.

Sharing

Copying a result writes only its date, version, total, five errors and site address to your clipboard. Device sharing passes that same text to the destination you select. We do not read your clipboard or record where you send the text.

Clearing your record

Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove HundoGame’s local storage. This removes saved progress and personal records on that browser. The game cannot restore a deleted record. Contact hello@hundogame.com with privacy questions.
